You can Attend a Fundraising Event: Wine Auction
SDC held its 3rd Annual Wine Auction to benefit the Shepherdstown Day Care
on November 21, 2009 in the War Memorial Building in Shepherdstown. The Wine
Auction, designed to raise needed funds for the Center, offers wine
enthusiasts the opportunity to stock their cellars with an array of
wonderful wines, the vast majority of which have rated 90+ points from
either the Wine Spectator or Wine Advocate. Highlights of past auctions
include a 1995 Chateau Mouton Rothschild Pauillac, a 2004 Dominus Cabernet
Sauvignon, a 2003 Paolo Scavino Nebbiolo Barolo Bric Del Fiasc, a 2005
Mollydooker "Carnival of Love" Shiraz, and a mixed case of wines from the
Wine Spectator Top 100 list. But wine is not the only thing being auctioned
- we've auctioned off a stay in the Argentine wine country, and a trip to
St. Lucia, as well. When you come to the Wine Auction you'll find that
giving never felt so good…
